We just got married!

Drew & I met on June 18, 2001, on our first day of work in Maryland. We were in an
orientation class where everyone was seated alphabetically, and our end-of-the-alphabet
table was quite small, with us seated right next to each other (Williams and Wilson!).
Little did we know we'd be dating a few months later.
In August of 2006, we vacationed in Hawaii and on the 18th, took an afternoon cruise on a sailing
catamaran. We stopped off the west coast of Oahu and went snorkeling, when Drew "saw something
shiny" on the bottom. He coaxed me down to a spot on the coral, where he found what
he was looking for--a diamond ring (on a string tied securely to his wrist)! I blew out
all my air and rocketed to the surface, leaving Drew on the bottom, holding a ring,
wondering if that was a yes. He came up and joined me at the surface; it was! :)
